Contemporary Fine Art Practitioner

In October 2015 Neil began Post-garaduate study with the Cambridge School of Art at Anglia Ruskin University, the programme is MA Fine Art

The outcome of this saw linguistic theory as an addition to the methodology and the creative process. New work has explored co-authored narrative image making together with translation theory as a factor in negotiating intention and meaning.

Undergraduate study was Fine Art Theory and Practice at Exeter School of Art, studio practice was in Painting Printmaking and Ceramics to degree level followed by postgraduate Educational and Management qualifications. This led to 19 years in Further and Higher Education, managing the physical and human resources as well as curriculum development at Burnley College's Department of Art Media and Performance and Blackpool and The Fylde College's School of Creative Arts and Digital Industry's Visual Arts Department

During this time triple commendations from QAA for HE provision and OFSTED graded 1, Outstanding in all areas at B&FC
